It’s a Wrap–Philippians and Beyond

Thank you to all who have studied Philippians with me this last month! wrap | philippians

I’ll be honest: it didn’t go the way I envisioned it, but I learned a lot about God, myself, this blog, and you–wonderful women, you!

My hope and prayer is that as you read through Philippians, you found the Holy Spirit working in you more joy, more thanksgiving, and more of Christ. That is our goal, is it not? To know Christ and allow Him to live His life through us (Phil 3:10-11).

As we move into Advent, I want to encourage you to take some time away from the busyness of the season to spend alone with Jesus. Time with Jesus is the One Thing that we are to seek. May our hearts long to gaze into the beauty of His presence and be transformed into His likeness (Psalm 27:4).

Use this time to get to know Jesus. Be fascinated by His character. Be surprised by His teaching. Be overwhelmed by His love.

In my personal quiet time, I’ll be working my way through 25 names of Jesus during this Advent season. You are welcomed to join me; in fact, I would LOVE your company. As I put together materials you’ll find them here and on our facebook page.

I want to hear from you! How can I better serve you? What do you want to see more of? Less? Please email me at onethingalone@gmail.com or contact me here. I would be so encouraged if you took a moment to share your thoughts.

Thank you for walking alongside me on this journey. You all are a blessing in my life.
