How to Review Podcasts on iTunes (And Why You Should)
Wish you could support your favorite podcast but don’t know how?
Leave a rating and review!
Most people who browse or stumble on a new podcast will look at how many stars and ratings a podcast has to decide whether or not to give it a chance.
Put simply: leaving a five-star rating and review can help the next listener discover the podcast that may change their prayer life!
If leaving a review is new to you, I’ll walk you through the process step-by-step. It’s actually very simple once you know how to get started! So here we go.
How to Review Podcasts on Your iPhone/iPad
Step 1: Open Apple Podcasts on your phone
Find the Apple Podcasts app. I have mine saved in a special folder, but you can also search for it by typing “podcasts” in your phone’s search bar.

Step 2: Find the Podcast
Open the app, find the search tool in the bottom right corner, and enter the name of the podcast you want to review. When you see the album art, tap it to open up the podcast.

Step 3: Subscribe to the Podcast
Hit the purple “subscribe” button to get future episodes delivered straight to your phone. This step is optional, but you’re already on this screen, so might as well get the benefit of never missing an episode, right?

Step 4: Write a Review
Scroll down to the section titled Ratings & Reviews and tap Write a Review. Tap five stars, and then write 1-2 sentences sharing what you love about the podcast. You could mention your favorite episode, or any other details about when you listen and how it’s changing your life.
Tap Send, and you’re done!

How to Review Podcasts on Stitcher
If you don’t use Apple products, there’s not a lot of other options to review podcasts. But one service that does collect reviews is Stitcher.
To leave a review on Stitcher, go to Stitcher.com and sign in with Facebook or Google, or create a new account. (Currently, you cannot leave reviews on the mobile app.)

Support Podcasts You Love
Leaving a review with a few friendly words of encouragement in a review means the world to podcasts hosts (like me), but it also helps potential subscribers give the podcast a chance.
So thank YOU for taking the time to leave a review. May many more Christians find rest in God’s presence as we spend time with Him in prayer.
